At Reintegreat, interventions are targeted support sessions, tailored to support students in order to help them to achieve or exceed their target grades or levels. Interventions are also there to help them with emotional or social support to be more confident and happier at school. Interventions span all year groups and abilities and are usually guided by current data and student progress.

CENTURY LEARNING

Personalisation gives students the optimal learning experience

Every student comes across learning roadblocks at some point, be it a misconception or a need for further stretch. Personalisation of learning allows students to always learn at the level that is just right for them.

Addressing gaps in knowledge and remedying misconceptions

Personalised learning allows students to progress in a way that is more individual to them, while ensuring that any gaps in knowledge or missed learning are remedied along the way.

Constantly adapting as students develop their knowledge and skills

For it to be truly effective, personalised learning needs to be continuous, as over the course of their learning students will develop new gaps in knowledge and misconceptions that need to be corrected in a timely manner.

Creating more engaged learners

Studies have found that highly personalised curriculum increases students’ time on task and overall engagement with learning. In turn, increased student agency and ownership of learning are connected to improved student achievement.

ASSESSMENTS

At Reintegreat all new starters complete baseline assessments, literacy and language assessments, dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments, SEND assessments and wellbeing assessments. This helps identify any underlying issues in their learning and enables teachers to address this. Some of the information gathered at this point can be used to highlight any evidence needed for future EHCP submission if required.
