Nick Reed - Director
Hello, I’m Nick, and it’s my absolute pleasure to serve as the Director of Reintegreat. With over 21 years of experience working with children and young people who are disengaged from education or face behavioural challenges, I’ve dedicated my career to helping those often overlooked by traditional systems.
I am deeply passionate about creating opportunities for every young person we support to realise their full potential. It’s a privilege to lead a team that shares this vision and is committed to transforming lives every day.

Alison Aspery - Executive Head Teacher
Hello, I am Alison, and I have the privilege of serving as the Executive Headteacher at Reintegreat. With over 26 years of experience working with challenging and hard to reach students, I am deeply committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people who need it most.
Over the years, I have taught Maths and ICT, and have held leadership roles in Careers and Post-16 education, always striving to create meaningful pathways for students’ future success.
I now have the honour of overseeing Reintegreat Education Solutions two sites, Pallister Park and Myplace, where we provide tailored support, high expectations, and a nurturing environment for every learner.

Mathew Todd - Headteacher – Myplace
Hello, I am Matthew, and I am proud to be the Headteacher at Myplace, leading the Outreach Programme for schools across Middlesbrough as part of Reintegreat Education Solutions.
I have a deep passion for the English language, which has been at the heart of my educational journey. During my degree, I developed a strong love for literature—something that has shaped my career and continues to inspire my work in the classroom. As an English specialist, I am committed to sharing that passion with the students I teach, helping them to find their own voice, engage with texts in meaningful ways, and grow in confidence

Angela Flandin - Operations Manager
Hello, I’m Angela and I am the Operations Manager at Reintegreat. I have 31 years experience working with students that struggle in a classroom situation. I started many years ago as support to one individual student and this is when I decided that teaching was what I wanted to pursue. I have taught English, French and PSHE throughout my career, progressing through to managing one of the leading alternative provisions in the North East.

Dawn Rawlinson - Deputy Headteacher
Hello, I am Dawn, and I am proud to be the Student Support Lead at Reintegreat Education Solutions. With 26 years of experience working with some of the most challenging and hard to reach students, I am passionate about creating the right conditions for every young person to succeed, both academically and personally.
In my role, I lead on attendance, special educational needs (SEND), and examinations across Reintegreat. I bring a wealth of knowledge in these areas, ensuring that our students are supported, understood, and set up for success at every stage of their journey.

Graham Hall - Inclusion and Behaviour Lead
Hello, I am Graham, and I am proud to be the Inclusion and Behaviour Lead at Reintegreat. I have extensive experience working with some of the most challenging students across Middlesbrough and supporting them to change behaviours, build resilience, and re-engage with their education.
My role focuses on working closely with students to develop tailored behaviour strategies that help them manage effectively within the classroom. I believe in restorative, student-centred approaches that promote growth, respect, and self-regulation.
In addition to my work on inclusion and behaviour, I am also a trained careers advisor. I ensure that all of our Year 11 students have clear, secure Post-16 pathways, supporting their transition into further education, training, or employment.

Paul Waters - Personal Development Lead
Hello, I am Paul, and I am proud to be the Personal Development Lead at Reintegreat. With 25 years of experience working with young people, my focus is on helping students grow into confident, capable individuals who are ready to thrive both in education and in life.
I work closely with our students to develop their Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative, and Communication (LORIC) skills. These core personal development skills are essential not only for success in education, but also for becoming responsible, engaged citizens within their communities.
Peter Martin - Teacher
Hello, my name is Peter, and I am a teacher at Reintegreat Education Solutions. I bring over 32 years of experience working in schools across Middlesbrough, where I dedicated my career to supporting and educating young people.
Since taking early retirement from full-time teaching, I have taken on a part-time role at Reintegreat, a position I thoroughly enjoy. This new and rewarding challenge allows me to continue making a positive impact, working closely with pupils in a supportive and dynamic environment.


Ryan James - Teacher
Hello, my name is Ryan and I am the Physical Education teacher at Reintegreat. I love my job and have never felt such an important part of a team. I have a real passion for developing learning experiences outside of the classroom for our young people and have the pleasure of organising all the offsite activities. I have had many years of leading, motivating and coaching young people to help improve their physical fitness and their confidence.
Laura Murphy - Instructor
Hello, my name is Laura. I am an instructor at Reintegreat. I love working with the students and then watching them grow and flourish as they continue their journey through school life. I love to bring learning to life with a foreign language and being creative in Art to help develop the students’ confidence knowledge of the wider world.

Daniel Needham - Instructor
Hello, my name is Daniel, and I am proud to be an Instructor at Reintegreat. I have many years of experience organising activities for young people within the local community, focused on building self-esteem, promoting physical fitness, and creating positive, engaging experiences outside of the traditional classroom.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping students who have previously struggled with education to re-engage with learning. I thrive on the challenge of supporting young people to return to school, rebuild their confidence, and take steps towards a brighter future.
John Lowe - Instructor
Hello, my name is John and I am the Humanities Instructor at Reintegreat. I have always had a passion for History and past events and enjoy leading on this subject at Reintegreat. This passion and working at Reintegreat has made me realise that I want to pursue a teaching career and help change their futures. I have now started a degree and look forward to qualifying as a teacher.

Andrew Bambrough - Instructor
Hello, my name is Andrew, and I’m an Instructor at Reintegreat. I have previous experience working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as those in the looked-after care system.
I’m passionate about supporting students who find traditional education challenging, helping them to rebuild their confidence, feel safe, and re-engage with learning at their own pace.
It’s a privilege to be part of a team that puts students first and works every day to make a real difference in their lives.

Robert Tombling - Transition Lead
Hello, my name is Robert, and I am the Transition Lead at Reintegreat. I enjoy working closely with new students to identify potential barriers to learning and to implement personalised strategies that help them succeed, not just academically, but in all areas of life. My role allows me to support young people as they navigate change, build confidence, and find their path within education and beyond.
It’s a privilege to be part of a team dedicated to transforming lives and opening up new opportunities for every young person we work with.

John Lowe - Instructor
Hello, my name is John, and I am an Instructor at Reintegreat. I have always had a passion for Humanities and past events, and I enjoy leading on the subjects that I teach.
Working at Reintegreat has inspired me to pursue a teaching career, as I am passionate about helping students change their futures through education. I have recently started a degree in education and look forward to qualifying as a teacher, continuing to support and empower young people to achieve their potential.

Laura Murphy - Instructor
Hello, my name is Laura, and I am an Instructor at Reintegreat. I love working with students and watching them grow and flourish as they progress through their school journey.
I enjoy bringing learning to life through foreign languages and creative Art projects, helping to build students’ confidence and broaden their understanding of the wider world. I also have experience in phonics and developing students’ reading skills.
Currently, I have started a degree in education and look forward to qualifying as a teacher, continuing my commitment to supporting young people to achieve their full potential.

Gemma Robinson - Assessment and Intervention Lead
Hello, my name is Gemma, and I am the Assessment and Intervention Lead at Reintegreat. I began my career supporting children in the Primary Education, and I wanted to expand my skills by working in the secondary sector with students with challenging behaviour. I am passionate about making a positive difference to their learning experiences.
I have strong experience in phonics and developing students’ reading skills, and I’m really enjoying my role at Reintegreat, where I feel I am a valued and important part of the team.

Nichola Hopson - Transition Lead
Hello, my name is Nichola and I am a Transition Lead at Reintegreat. I have worked closely with young people navigating challenging behaviours, often within the mental health and looked-after care sectors. With a background in psychology and many years of hands on experience, I’ve developed a strong commitment to supporting young people through key life transitions. I’m passionate about being part of the Reintegreat team and proud to play a role in making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of our students.

Mark Rayner - Transition Lead
Hi, I’m Mark and I’m one of the Transition Leads here at Reintegreat.
With a background as a professional musician and recording engineer, I have had the opportunity to deliver drum tuition and music production workshops to young people with challenging behaviours and SEND needs. I am passionate about supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, rebuild their confidence, and find their way back into education. Helping young people discover their potential, especially through creative outlets, this is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

Stephen Eccles - Transition Lead
Hello, my name is Stephen and I am a Transition Lead at Reintegreat. As a Transition Lead I support pupils referred to our Outreach Programme at the Myplace site, helping them overcome barriers to learning and fostering positive behaviour and attitudes. My role involves close collaboration with teachers, families, and schools to ensure a smooth reintegration process and continued support during transition periods.
With over 20 years of experience working with young people from Primary through to Secondary education, my background spans Physical Education, Health, Fitness, and Wellbeing.

Wendy Cross - Catering Lead
Hello, my name is Wendy. With 38 years of experience in the catering industry, I have continually developed and improved a healthy, nutritious menu designed to encourage students to explore new foods and broaden their culinary experiences.
In addition to managing our catering provision, I also lead the practical lessons for the Hospitality and Catering GCSE, combining my industry expertise with a passion for teaching to inspire and equip students with valuable skills.

Faye Blyth - Teaching Assistant
Hello, my name is Faye, and I am a Teaching Assistant at Reintegreat. I bring many years of experience in Mental Health support and have previously worked with a leading recruitment service for schools in the local area.
Having grown up in Middlesbrough, I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people from my community. I’m committed to supporting students to overcome challenges and succeed both academically and personally.

All staff are qualified, and DBS checked. Each service provides a tailor-made work programme that is frequently reviewed. Reports are provided to all key stakeholders throughout their time with us.
