Nick Reed - Director

Hello, I am Nick and it is my absolute pleasure to be Director of Reintegreat. I have over 20 years experience, working with children and young people that are disengaged from education or have challenging behaviour. I am passionate about giving every young person we work with the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Alison Aspery - Headteacher

Hello, I am Alison and I have the privilege to be Headteacher at Reintegreat. I have 24 years experience working with challenging and hard to reach students. I started many years ago as a teaching assistant and this is when I decided that teaching was my passion. I have taught Maths and ICT throughout my career progressing through to leading in Careers and Post-16 education.

Mathew Todd - Deputy Headteacher 

Hello, I am Matthew and I am Deputy Headteacher at Reintegreat. I have a passion for the English language and have specialised in this subject. During my degree I also developed a love of Literature and this has guided my career to become an English Specialist and share my knowledge with the students I teach.

Angela Flandin - Operations Manager

Hello, I’m Angela and I am the Operations Manager at Reintegreat. I have 31 years experience working with students that struggle in a classroom situation. I started many years ago as support to one individual student and this is when I decided that teaching was what I wanted to pursue. I have taught English, French and PSHE throughout my career, progressing through to managing one of the leading alternative provisions in the North East.

Laura Murphy - Instructor

Hello, my name is Laura. I am an instructor at Reintegreat. I love working with the students and then watching them grow and flourish as they continue their journey through school life. I love to bring learning to life with a foreign language and being creative in Art to help develop the students’ confidence knowledge of the wider world.

Suzanne Solomon - Student Support

Hello, my name is Suzanne. I am a member of the Learning Support Team at Reintegreat. I have worked with children in the Education sector in various roles but mainly in intervention and home liaison. I thoroughly enjoy working here, supporting small groups and individuals within Reintegreat. It is a pleasure to come to work each day and spend time with the students.

Graham Hall - Inclusion and Behaviour Lead

Hello, I am Graham and I am the Inclusion and Behaviour Lead at Reintegreat. I have worked with some of the most challenging students in Middlesbrough and the surrounding authorities to help them change and improve their behaviour and attitude towards learning. I work closely with the students to put strategies in place that will help them manage within the classroom. I am a trained career advisor and ensure that our Year 11 students have a secure Post-16 destination.

Ryan James - Teacher

Hello, my name is Ryan and I am the Physical Education teacher at Reintegreat. I love my job and have never felt such an important part of a team. I have a real passion for developing learning experiences outside of the classroom for our young people and have the pleasure of organising all the offsite activities. I have had many years of leading, motivating and coaching young people to help improve their physical fitness and their confidence.

Andrew Bambrough
Instructor and School Finance Lead

Hello, my name is Andrew and I am an Instructor and the School Finance Lead. I have previous experience of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and young people in the looked after sector. I enjoy supporting young people that struggle within the educational system, giving them the confidence to engage with their education and not feel under pressure.

John Lowe - Instructor

Hello, my name is John and I am the Humanities Instructor at Reintegreat. I have always had a passion for History and past events and enjoy leading on this subject at Reintegreat. This passion and working at Reintegreat has made me realise that I want to pursue a teaching career and help change their futures. I have now started a degree and look forward to qualifying as a teacher.

Faye Blyth 

My name is Faye and I am a member of the Learning Support Team at Reintegreat. I have many years experience in Mental Health and working with a leading recruitment service for schools in the local area. I grew up in Middlesbrough and I am passionate about making a difference to the young people from this area.

Daniel Needham - Attendance Officer

Hello, my name is Daniel and I am the Inclusions and Attendance Lead at Reintegreat. I love my job and enjoy being an essential part of the team. I have many years experience of organising activities for young people within the local community to help build their self-esteem and improve their physical fitness. I really enjoy the challenge of getting young people back in to school and engaging in education where they have previously struggled.

Robert Tombling
Assessment & Intervention Lead

Hello, my name is Robert and I am Initial assessment Lead at Reintegreat. I started at Reintegreat after working many years as an electrical engineer and then looking for a career change. From day one I realised it was the best decision I had ever made. I enjoy working with new students and helping identify potential barriers to learning and implementing the strategies to help them succeed in their education and wider world.

Dawn Rawlinson - SEN / Exam Officer

Hello, I’m Dawn and I am the Special Education Needs and Exams Officer at Reintegreat. I have 25 years experience working with some of the most challenging students. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge with exams and SEND. I have also worked closely with the English Team to help deliver the GCSE curriculum.

Paul Waters - Personal Development Lead

Hello, I am Paul and I am the Personal Development Lead at Reintegreat. I work with students to build their Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication skills (LORIC). These skills will help them develop themselves with a view to becoming good citizens in the community. I make links with businesses’ and community groups to encourage the students to engage in different projects to help improve their community engagement.

Wendy Cross - Catering Lead

Hello, my name is Wendy. I have worked in the catering industry for 37 years. I have continually developed and improved a healthy and nutritious menu encouraging students to try different foods and broaden their experiences with different tastes. I also lead on the practical lessons of the Hospitality and Catering GCSE.

Gemma Robinson - Student Support 

Hello, my name is Gemma. I am a member of the Learning Support Team at Reintegreat. I have previously worked with children in the Primary Education sector as a support within the classroom. I wanted to develop my skills in the secondary sector working with students with challenging behaviour as I feel I can make a difference to their learning experience. I am really enjoying my new role and feel I am an important part of the team.

All staff are qualified, and DBS checked. Each service provides a tailor-made work programme that is frequently reviewed. Reports are provided to all key stakeholders throughout their time with us.
