Safeguarding at Reintegreat

At Reintegreat Education Solutions, we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all our students. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.

We are committed to:

  • Providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child is respected and valued.

  • Being alert to the signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and taking prompt action where concerns arise.

  • Following our safeguarding policy and procedures to ensure children receive effective protection, support, and justice.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we work in close partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies to keep our students safe.

Advice for Parents & Carers

We encourage all parents/carers to remain alert and aware of their child’s safety both inside and outside of school.

Do you know WHO your child is WITH and WHAT they are doing?

  • Be Alert – When your child tells you they are going to a friend’s house or a ‘sleep out’, they may not always be where you think they are.

  • Be Aware – Speak to your child about where they are going, who they will be with, and when they will be home.

  • Check In – If your child asks to sleep over at a friend’s, confirm this directly with the other parent/carer.

  • Be Consistent – Explain to your child that you will always ask questions and make checks, because keeping them safe is your responsibility.

If you are worried about a child:

  • Call Cleveland Police on 101 if you believe a child is in immediate danger

  • Contact Social Care on 01642 726004

  • For confidential advice and support, call Barnardo’s on 01642 300774
