Advice for Parents & Carers
We encourage all parents/carers to remain alert and aware of their child’s safety both inside and outside of school.
Do you know WHO your child is WITH and WHAT they are doing?

Be Alert – When your child tells you they are going to a friend’s house or a ‘sleep out’, they may not always be where you think they are.

Be Aware – Speak to your child about where they are going, who they will be with, and when they will be home.

Check In – If your child asks to sleep over at a friend’s, confirm this directly with the other parent/carer.

Be Consistent – Explain to your child that you will always ask questions and make checks, because keeping them safe is your responsibility.
