Our Intent:
Sport & Fitness
At Reintegreat, we are committed to promoting health, wellbeing, and lifelong fitness by embedding sport and fitness into our curriculum. We believe that physical activity plays a vital role not only in improving physical health, but also in supporting mental wellbeing, resilience, and teamwork.

Our Sport and Fitness course is vocational and project-based, designed to give students both practical experience and theoretical knowledge to support real-world health and fitness goals. Students are encouraged to apply what they learn to everyday contexts, developing the skills and strategies to build healthier lifestyles for themselves and others.

Through this course, students will develop knowledge and understanding in:

-
The functions of body systems and how they contribute to performance.
-
The principles of training and how they can be applied to fitness programmes.
-
The body’s short- and long-term responses to exercise.
-
How to create and apply lifestyle analysis tools.
-
How to achieve an NCFE qualification (either Level 1 or Level 2).
-
How to design, implement, and evaluate fitness programmes for people with specific health and fitness goals.
This approach equips students with the confidence, motivation, and practical expertise to make informed choices about their own health and to inspire others to do the same.
