Nick Reed - Director

“As a team we have developed our provision to meet the needs and challenges identified by local authorities and Schools within the Tees Valley area. Children and young people are at the very heart of our service; therefore, we strive for a high quality, cost-effective provision that is accessible to all.”

I grew up in one of the most deprived areas of Middlesbrough which presented me with many challenges. Due to my experience, I understand the importance of children having a positive role model and the difference this can make to a young person's future.

We developed Reintegreat to reach out to children and young people who were finding it difficult to learn in a mainstream environment. Reintegreat believes that with the right help and support all barriers to education can be removed. We are very passionate about what we do and have proudly built a 5-star rated service, based on the differences we have made to the young people we have worked with to date. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we build with local authorities, schools, parents, carers and most of all the young people we work with, we believe that it is this investment that sets us apart.

We balance educational engagement with social experiences to bring a flexible approach to learning. We believe that every child and young person deserves access to a high-quality education, whatever their background. This is why we go above and beyond to get the best outcomes, for both our learners and their families.

We are already working with schools and academies within the area and are also on the Alternative Provision Framework lists for Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Cleveland and North Yorkshire Council. By working together, I truly believe we can make a big difference to the lives of children and young people across Teesside.

Young people we support

Reintegreat works with young people within the Tees Valley area. Below are just some of the reasons why schools and local authorities refer pupils to Reintegreat.

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders can create barriers to learning which often results in students refusing to attend their educational provision. Reintegreat can offer many different solutions for their complex needs by offering 1-1 tuition, either on-site or within the family home, online learning catered to their requirements, or small group work to build up confidence and self-esteem.

Challenging Behaviour

We work with schools, academies and local authorities to help avoid permanent or fixed term exclusions. Our staff have many years experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour. We understand that not all students are suited to the classroom environment so Reintegreat have created a more flexible way of learning.

Teenage Pregnancy

Reintegreat supports teenage mums during and after their pregnancy, either at home or within a small group setting. We provide a safe, nurturing environment that offers emotional and educational support to ensure that they continue to progress as normal with their education.

Disengaged Students

Reintegreat understands that young people become disengaged from education for many reasons. These reasons could be due to SEND, mental health, non-school related matters or other underlining issues. Reintegreat recognises these challenges and highlights the package of support needed to re-engage these students and minimise the risk of a repeat situation. We aim to create a lifelong, sustainable change, therefore we support, build trust and give them the tools to positively engage with education to ensure a brighter future.
