Breakfast Club at Reintegreat

At Reintegreat, we believe that starting the day with the right nourishment makes a huge difference to learning, wellbeing, and relationships. Our Breakfast Club provides all students with the chance to enjoy a healthy meal in a relaxed, welcoming environment before lessons begin.

We know that when students begin the day well-fed and settled, they are more likely to:

  • Concentrate and stay motivated in class

  • Engage positively with learning

  • Show improved behaviour and attendance

  • Build stronger relationships with staff and peers

Most importantly, Breakfast Club gives our students the opportunity to feel appreciated, valued, and cared for right from the start

of the school day.

Benefits of Breakfast Club

We see Breakfast Club as much more than just a meal—it’s a foundation for a positive school day. It helps to:

  • Promote healthy eating habits and regular meal times

  • Increase intake of fibre, vitamins, and minerals

  • Improve attendance and punctuality

  • Provide a safe, informal space for staff and students to connect

What We Offer

Every child at Reintegreat has the opportunity to eat breakfast at the start of the day. We provide a variety of nutritious options, including:

  • Cereals

  • Toast

  • Fresh fruit

  • Milk, water, or juice

Throughout the year, we also host special themed breakfasts to celebrate cultural events and traditions, for example, international breakfasts or Pancake Tuesday. These add variety, excitement, and a chance for students to experience something new.

Activities Before School

Breakfast Club isn’t just about food. To help students settle in and feel ready for the day ahead, we also offer a variety of activities such as:

  • Pool tournaments

  • Arts and crafts

  • Gaming and board games

  • Team activities

  •

These opportunities help students feel relaxed, connected, and ready to learn when lessons begin.
