Geography Curriculum
Curriculum Intent

At Reintegreat, our Geography curriculum aims to highlight the awe and wonder of the world—both locally and globally. Geography helps our students make sense of the world around them, encouraging them to see the connections between people, places, and environments.
Through engaging and varied lessons, we:

-
Encourage students to become independent learners through project-based tasks
-
Build enquiring minds that question the world around them
-
Inspire curiosity about different cultures, environments, and global challenges
-
Help students grow into confident, informed, and responsible citizens
By combining knowledge with critical thinking and fieldwork skills, our Geography curriculum develops a strong understanding of local, national, and global issues—empowering students to see their role in shaping the future.
Key Stage 3 Focus
Our KS3 Geography curriculum follows the three main strands recommended by the National Curriculum:
-
Locational Knowledge – building understanding of key places, regions, and features around the world.
-
Human and Physical Geography – exploring the interactions between people, environments, and natural processes.
-
Geographical Skills and Fieldwork – equipping students with practical skills to investigate and interpret the world.
