Counselling and Mental Health Support
At Reintegreat, we know that wellbeing is central to success in school and in life. That is why we provide access to professional counselling and mental health support across both of our sites, ensuring that every student can receive the help they need to thrive.

Our Counselling and Mental Health Advisor

We work with a qualified nurse, who is also a trained counsellor and mental health practitioner, with over 20 years of experience, including extensive work with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).

Our advisor plays a key role in supporting our whole school community by:
-
Delivering one-to-one and group sessions for students.
-
Offering family work and parent/carer workshops to provide guidance and support at home.
-
Supporting the wellbeing of staff, ensuring a healthy and positive environment for everyone.
-
Working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and supporting families through the EHCP process where an application may be needed.
-
Sharing expertise and best practice with other schools in the local area.
Access to Support

This service is available to all students at Reintegreat. Support may be recommended by staff, or requested by parents/carers if they feel their child would benefit.

Parent/Carer Consent

For a student to access one-to-one or group sessions with our Counselling and Mental Health Advisor, we require parent/carer consent.
All parents/carers are asked to sign our School Agreement at their child’s meet and greet. This agreement provides consent for their child to work with our Counselling and Mental Health Advisor if needed. Without this agreement, individual counselling sessions cannot take place.

Our Commitment

At Reintegreat, we are committed to the wellbeing of both students and staff. By providing access to an experienced and qualified professional, we ensure that mental health and emotional support remain at the heart of our school community.
