Quality Assurance Framework
Reintegreat Education Solutions are on the Quality Assurance Framework for lists for Middlesbrough Council, Stockton Borough Council, Redcar and Cleveland Council and North Yorkshire County Council. This involves Reintegreat being inspected twice each academic year by a leading school or academy and then a quality assuring school or academy.

Guidance for Alternative Provision/School Leaders

Step 1 - Alternative Provision place Self Evaluation Form & Behaviour Partnership Reporting Template into their SEF & BP Folder on the Google shared drive by 1st October. (Link to SEF Doc & BP Reporting Template)

 

Step 2 - Mutually agreed date for the ‘Initial Quality Assurance Visit’ between QA school, LEA and Provision (Term 1 - 1st October 2021 - Last Panel Meeting)

 

Seven days prior to the visit

 

Step 3 - AP setting uploads the following information into the ‘Safeguarding - Single Central Record and Training Record’ folder.

 

i)  Names of staff, Disclosure and Barring Check Number.

ii)  Up to date training record - KSCIE, Safeguarding Children in Education, Induction Training, Safeguarding Awareness, DSL Training, Safer Recruitment Training and Prevent Training. Non-Statutory FGM & CSE

 

Step 4 - Upload Policies into ‘Policies folder’ or a Document with all the links to the website - ensuring policy compliance or the AP Provision:

-      Vision of the provision/Curriculum Intent

-      Training - Appraisal and performance management (workforce development)

-      Safer Recruitment

-      Staff code of conduct and IT usage

-      Safeguarding (LSCB, CP/CIN, Contextualised concerns)

-      Visitors and external providers

-      Special Educational Needs

-      Behaviour

-      Attendance & Punctuality

-      Curriculum Guide

-      Careers

-      Teaching and Learning

-      Personal Development

-      Whistle Blowing

-      Bullying

-      Previous OFSTED inspections and Trust/Governance Visits

 

One document with all the links to the policies on the provision website.

 

Step 5 - During visit - Collect an evidence base (Provision, LEA, QA School)

 

-      Notes from visit - lesson drop ins, book scrutiny,

-      Feedback from student/staff/leadership.

-      Any evidence that supports the effectiveness of the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and safeguarding

 

Step 6 - Complete Quality Assurance Report and share with leaders of the provision (LEA, QA School) (Link to doc)

 

Step 7 - Publish QA report to Pupil Inclusion Panel and upload to the Provision’s Google Drive (LEA, QA School)

 

Step 8 - Give overview of QA at Pupil Placement Panel

 

Step 9 - Alternative Provision constantly reviews recommendations via the Quality Improvement Plan

 

Step 10 - Mutually agreed date for the ‘Review Quality Assurance Visit’ between QA school, LEA and Provision (Term 3 25th April - Last Panel Meeting)

 

Seven days prior to the visit

 

Step 11 - Submit Quality Improvement Plan

 

Step 12 - Update SCR/Policies in folder if required

 

Step 13 - During visit - Collect an evidence base and check progress towards improvement plan (Provision, LEA, QA School)

 

-      Notes from visit - lesson drop ins, book scrutiny,

-      Feedback from student/staff/leadership.

-      Any evidence that supports the effectiveness of the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and safeguarding

 

Step 14 - Complete Quality Assurance Report and share with leaders of the provision (LEA, QA School) (Link to doc)

 

Step 15 - Publish QA report to Pupil Inclusion Panel and upload to the Provision’s Google Drive (LEA, QA School)
